Foundation Grants
Our team has extensive experience working with the corporate and private foundation community to identify shared priorities, align missions, and develop long-term relationships that can help organizations achieve long-term financial stability. We’ll handle the search, letter of interest, narrative, and application process from start to finish. And if your application is funded, we’ll even craft a thank you letter and recommend a post-award stewardship plan that increases the chance of renewals.
Outsourced Grants Development
Working as an extension of your team on a contract basis, we provide a full suite of grants development services including grant writing, prospect research, literature and best practices review, letters of interest, budget creation, evaluation design, supplemental grant materials, and submission of proposal packages. We’ll analyze your organization’s current fundraising capacity, historical data, and revenue projections. Based on these insights, we’ll develop a plan of action and recommendations designed to set your organization on course for long-term sustainability.

A multiyear government grant can fund innovate new programs, significantly expand the capacity of an organization, or even transform a community. It can also require a team of professionals to craft and a level of precision worthy of a Swiss watchmaker. Thankfully, our team has extensive experience in this area, whether its the U.S. Department of Education, the National Science Foundation, the Small Business Administration, Health and Human Services, or any of the other agencies that awarded over $700 billion in 2017 alone.
External Evaluation
Whether you’re starting something new or expanding an existing program, GSC will partner with your staff to design an evaluation process consistent with your objectives, review data collection and analysis, conduct on-site observations and consultations, develop new insights, and recommend program refinements that will make your organization more attractive to funding partners and better position your staff to meet key performance indicators.

Our success rate writing Title V HSI grant proposals now stands at 75%, in an industry where 10-15% is considered average. In 2019 alone we developed and wrote two $3.5 million Title V grant proposals, for community colleges in California and Texas; both projects were funded! Our team has worked on the pre- and post-award management of several Title V and HSI-STEM awards, giving us experience and insight we turn into a competitive advantage for your school. Our Chief Strategist, Jamie, helped lead the Grantsmanship Institute at the 2017 ASHIE Best Practices Conference in Las Vegas.
